🗓️ Your Calendar Is Your Strategy — Not a To-Do List

“If your calendar controls you… you’re not in control.”

Here’s a mistake a lot of CSMs make:

They treat their calendar like a list of meetings.

But your calendar… is your strategy.

Every meeting you accept
is something you’re choosing not to focus on.

And the problem?

Too many CSMs default to “yes.”

Yes to internal calls.
Yes to last-minute requests.
Yes to meetings with no clear outcome.

And suddenly… your week is full,
but your impact is low.

Strong CSMs do something different.

They protect their calendar
like they protect their customers.

Because if you don’t control your time,
you can’t control your outcomes.

If your calendar is always full…
it might not be working for you.

💬 Your turn: What’s one meeting this week you should say no to… but haven’t?

I’ll go first 👋

One shift that made a big difference for me was asking a simple question before accepting any meeting:

“What decision will come out of this?”

If there’s no clear answer,
it’s probably not worth the time.

Saying “no” felt uncomfortable at first —
but it created space for higher-impact work almost immediately.

What meeting are you keeping out of habit instead of value?
