“You’re waiting too much.”

Here’s something that quietly slows your growth:

“I’ll wait for product.”
“I’ll wait for leadership.”
“I’ll wait until we have more clarity.”

Sounds reasonable.

But over time?

It becomes a habit.

And that habit creates 3 problems:

👉 you lose momentum in your accounts
👉 you stop driving the conversation
👉 and you become reactive instead of strategic

Because while you’re waiting…

Nothing is moving.

Strong CSMs don’t wait for perfect conditions.

They move with what they have.

They say:

👉 “Here’s what we can do now.”
👉 “Here’s the best next step based on today.”
👉 “Let’s move forward while we validate the rest.”

That’s the shift.

From waiting… to leading.

I’ll go first 👇

One pattern I had to break:

Waiting until I had full clarity before taking action.

It felt responsible…
but it was actually slowing everything down.

Now I think differently:

👉 “What can we move forward today with what we know?”

Even if it’s not perfect.

Because progress doesn’t come from having all the answers.

It comes from keeping things moving.

Where are you waiting for “perfect”… instead of acting on “enough”?
