“You’re waiting for perfect clarity.”

Here’s something that feels responsible…
but actually slows everything down:

“Let me gather a bit more information.”
“I just need to confirm a few more things.”
“Let’s wait until we have full clarity.”

Now—sometimes, that’s valid.

But when it becomes your default…

You stop moving things forward.

And you start delaying progress.

Because every time you wait for perfect clarity, you’re doing 3 things:

👉 slowing down decisions
👉 creating unnecessary hesitation
👉 and losing momentum with the client

Because clarity doesn’t come before action.

It comes through it.

Strong CSMs don’t wait for perfect answers.

They move with informed direction.

They say:

👉 “Here’s what we know so far.”
👉 “Here’s the best next step.”
👉 “Let’s move—and adjust if needed.”

That’s the shift.

From waiting for certainty…

To leading with progress.

If you’re waiting for perfect clarity…
you’re probably delaying the outcome.

💬 Your turn: Where are you waiting for more clarity… instead of moving things forward?

🔚 Tuesday Reset

“Progress creates clarity. Not the other way around.”

I’ll go first 👇

One pattern I had to break:

Waiting until everything made sense before acting.

It felt responsible…
but it was actually slowing everything down.

Now I think differently:

👉 “What’s the best move with what we know right now?”

Even if it’s not perfect.

Because clarity doesn’t come from waiting.

It comes from moving.

Where could you take one step forward this week—even without full clarity?
