“You’re not the bottleneck… your communication is.”

Here’s a tough one — but important:

A lot of delays in Customer Success
don’t come from systems.

They come from how we communicate.

Unclear asks.
Soft language.
No defined next step.

And what happens?

Things slow down.
Decisions stall.
Ownership gets blurred.

Then we say:
“Stakeholders are blocked.”

But are they?

Or did we just not make it clear enough?

Strong CSMs don’t just communicate often.
They communicate decisively.

– Clear expectation
– Clear owner
– Clear deadline

That’s what removes friction.

If things keep getting delayed…
look at how you’re communicating.

💬 Your turn: Where in your communication are you being clear… but not decisive?

🔚 Wednesday Insight:
“Clarity informs. Decisiveness moves.”

I’ll start 👋

One shift that made a big difference for me:

Moving from
“Let’s follow up on this next week”

to
“John owns this — update by Thursday EOD.”

Same clarity.
Very different outcome.

Decisiveness removes ambiguity.
And ambiguity is where delays live.

Where in your communication could you be more explicit about ownership or timing?
