Mid-level CSMs rarely hear this — but they need to.

If you feel slower than you used to…
more thoughtful before responding…
less eager to jump to the first answer —
you’re not falling behind.

You’re building judgment.

At this stage, you’re no longer just executing tasks.
You’re weighing trade-offs, anticipating consequences,
and choosing how to respond — not just what to do.

That pause isn’t weakness.
It’s maturity.
And it’s exactly what turns good CSMs into strategic ones.

đź’¬ Your turn: Where have you noticed yourself slowing down to make better decisions lately?

🔚 Tuesday Insight:
“Experience doesn’t make decisions faster. It makes them wiser.”

I’ll go first 👋

I’ve noticed this most in escalations. I don’t rush to respond anymore — I pause to understand impact, options, and second-order effects before acting.

It feels slower on the surface, but the outcomes are cleaner and more durable.
That pause has become one of my biggest strengths.

Where have you noticed your judgment starting to show up more intentionally?
