🔍 You Don’t Need to Be Perfect. You Need to Be Clear

Most new CSMs feel pressure to sound flawless.
But here’s the truth: clarity beats perfection — every time.

Clients don’t expect you to know everything.
They expect you to explain:
– what’s known
– what’s unknown
– and what happens next

Great CSMs build trust by being clear —
even when the answer isn’t final.

If you’re chasing perfect answers,
you might be missing clear ones.

đź’¬ Your turn: Where could being clearer help more than trying to be perfect this week?

🔚 Monday Thought:
“Clarity builds trust faster than confidence.”

I’ll go first 👋

One place I focus on clarity over perfection is setting expectations.
Even a simple “I don’t have the answer yet, but I’ll update you by Thursday” builds more trust than a rushed response ever could.

It removes anxiety — for the client and for me.

Where could clarity help you more than trying to sound perfect this week?
