🤝 The Handshake Matters More Than the Handoff

Most teams treat a handoff as a task —
documents, notes, timelines, checklists.

But the handshake is what really defines the customer’s experience.
It’s the moment two teams:
🔄 Align on expectations
🧠 Share context openly
🎯 Commit to the same outcome

Great companies don’t just pass customers from one team to another.
They build continuity,
so the customer never feels the transition.

Because when the handshake is strong,
the journey is seamless.

💬 Your turn: What’s one thing that makes a handoff feel seamless instead of stressful?

I’ll go first 👋

One thing that always makes a handoff seamless is a shared narrative — not just sharing notes, but making sure both teams tell the same story about goals, expectations, and next steps.

It removes confusion before it starts and gives the customer confidence that everyone is aligned.

What’s the one move that makes handoffs smooth in your world?
