Early in your CS career, you chase everything.
You chase updates.
You chase alignment.
You chase urgency.

But as you grow, the game changes.

Senior CSMs stop chasing —
and start orchestrating.

They build the agenda.
They shape the narrative.
They coordinate the right voices at the right time,
so progress feels natural, not forced.

Senior CSMs don’t push harder.
They move smarter.

💬 Your turn: What’s one thing you do today that you never did as a junior CSM?

🧠 Wednesday Insight:
“Influence is built quietly, but felt loudly.”

I’ll start us off 👋

One thing I do today that I never did as a junior CSM is setting the narrative before the meeting even starts — sending context, framing, and expected outcomes ahead of time.

It turns every call into alignment instead of a chase for information.
That shift alone changed my entire rhythm as a Senior CSM.

What’s the habit or mindset that changed most for you as you leveled up?
