There’s a point in every CSM’s career where everything shifts.
You stop chasing tasks…
and you start shaping priorities.

You’re no longer just completing action items —
you’re influencing what the action items should even be.

Senior CSMs see across accounts, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
They guide conversations, not just follow them.
They help their clients focus —
and they help their company focus.

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about directing what matters.

💬 Your turn: What’s one area where you’ve learned to guide priorities instead of just executing them?

🔚 Wednesday Insight:
“Seniority isn’t measured by workload, but by the weight of the decisions you influence.”

I’ll jump in first 👋

One area where I’ve learned to shape priorities is risk visibility. Instead of just flagging issues, I now define which risks matter most, what the impact is, and where we should focus first.

It turns me from a messenger into a strategic partner — and it helps teams move with clarity instead of noise.

Where have you shifted from executing to guiding?
