🚗 Ownership Beats Availability

Being available doesn’t make you a great CSM.
Ownership does.

Mid-level CSMs often hit a wall when they confuse
being responsive with being responsible.

Ownership looks different:
– Setting the agenda before the meeting
– Defining decisions instead of waiting for them
– Closing loops instead of keeping threads open

Great CSMs don’t just reply fast.
They move things forward.

Once you shift from availability to ownership,
your role — and your impact — changes completely.

💬 Your turn: Where could you step into ownership instead of just staying available?

🔚 Wednesday Thought:
“Responsiveness is helpful. Ownership is leadership.”

I’ll go first 👋

One place I consciously stepped into ownership was meeting outcomes. Instead of waiting for alignment to happen, I started defining the decision we needed to make before the call — and guiding the conversation toward it.

That shift alone turned meetings from updates into progress.

Where’s one area you could move from reacting to leading?
