“Clarity without action… is useless.”

Here’s something a lot of CSMs get wrong early on:

They focus so much on understanding…

👉 the problem
👉 the context
👉 the stakeholders

That they forget to move things forward.

And yes—clarity matters.

But clarity alone doesn’t create progress.

Action does.

You can have the clearest situation in the world…

And still be stuck.

Because no one decided:

👉 what happens next
👉 who owns it
👉 and when it gets done

That’s the shift.

Strong CSMs don’t just bring clarity.

They turn clarity into movement.

Small step.
Clear owner.
Defined next action.

That’s how momentum is built.

If things feel clear… but nothing’s moving—
you’re missing action.

💬 Your turn: Where are you clear… but still not moving forward?

I’ll go first 👇

One mistake I used to make:

Spending too much time making sure everyone understood the situation…
but not locking the next step.

Great conversation.
Clear alignment.
No movement.

Now I always push one thing before closing any discussion:

👉 What’s the next action?
👉 Who owns it?
👉 By when?

Because clarity without a next step is just… awareness.

Where could you turn clarity into action this week?
